Appearance
Switch between light mode, dark mode, or a setting that follows your device's system preference.
By the end of this page, you'll know how to set the visual theme of your MemberPass creator dashboard.
Appearance settings live at Settings → Appearance (URL: /settings/appearance). The only thing on this page is a color scheme selector — but it's a preference you'll interact with often, so it has its own dedicated spot.
The three options
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Light | Always use the light theme. Best in bright environments; easiest for reviewing invoices and exports. |
| Dark | Always use the dark theme. Easier on the eyes at night and in dim rooms. |
| System | Follow whatever your device is currently set to. Automatically flips when your OS switches (for example, macOS dark mode schedule, Windows "Choose your mode"). |
Change your theme
Go to Settings → Appearance.
The change takes effect immediately — no Save Changes button needed.
The preference is saved per account, not per browser. Sign in on a different device and you'll see the same theme there without having to re-pick.
Tips for picking
- Doing accounting or exports? Light mode usually gives better contrast on numeric columns and spreadsheet-style views.
- Screenshotting for a marketing post? Light mode renders more consistently across readers' devices.
- Working at night? Dark mode reduces eye strain and doesn't light up a dark room.
- Unsure? Pick System — it matches whatever you're doing elsewhere on your device.
