Profile
Update your display name, email address, and country from the Profile Settings page.
By the end of this page, you'll know how to keep the personal details on your creator account accurate — which matters for invoices, support, and how your name appears in dashboards.
Profile settings live at Settings → Profile (URL: /settings/profile). The page is divided into two parts: Profile information and Account deletion (covered separately at Delete your account).
What you can change
The Profile Information form has three fields:

| Name | Your display name in the dashboard and in team views. Minimum 5 characters, maximum 255. |
| Email address | The address we use for receipts, password resets, and account notifications. Changing it starts a re-verification step (see below). |
| Country | Used for region-aware defaults elsewhere in MemberPass. Optional — you can leave it blank. |
About your avatar. MemberPass doesn't have a profile-photo uploader. We automatically fetch an avatar for your account email through unavatar.io, which pulls from Gravatar or from public social profiles linked to that address. Want a specific image? Set it up on Gravatar (gravatar.com) using the same email — the change is picked up automatically.
Update your name or country
Go to Settings → Profile.
Edit the Name or Country field. Country is a searchable dropdown with flags — start typing to filter.
A toast confirms "Your changes has been saved." Your updates take effect immediately across MemberPass.
Changing your email address
Email is special because it's also a sign-in identifier and the address we send critical notifications to.
Save the new address
Enter the new address in the Email field and click Save Changes.
The system saves the new address immediately — but because it's not verified yet, email-dependent actions may be limited until you confirm it.
Verify the new address
Check your inbox at the new address for a verification email from MemberPass.
Your email is now fully verified and active. Sign-in now expects the new address.
Link expired or missing
If the verification link is lost or doesn't arrive: sign in as normal and use the "Resend verification email" banner that MemberPass shows while your email is unverified.
Name & branding vs. project name
Your profile name is your name. It's different from a project's name — which you set when you create a project. For example:
- Your profile: Sandakelum Senevirathna
- Your project: Pro Chess Club
Subscribers of Pro Chess Club see the project name and branding, not your personal name, when they interact with bots, portals, and receipts.
Country
Your country choice is used where regional context matters — for example, to surface payment providers most relevant to you first in setup wizards. You can always override settings per-project, so this field is a convenience, not a binding choice.
